On September 8th, Liuzhou, Guangxi, became a global focal point for the new energy commercial vehicle sector. The Guangxi regional launch event for the Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck, Weichai Power, and CIMC Haoqiangua new energy "Zhihui" series products, along with the delivery ceremony for the world's first all-electric integrated train (CIMC-Shaanxi Haoqiangua EVH700), took place here.
At the event, the new energy "Zhihui" series of integrated trains, jointly launched by Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck, Weichai Power, and CIMC Vehicles, officially launched in Guangxi. As a benchmark product designed for efficient and green logistics, the "Zhihui" integrated product series achieves breakthroughs in core dimensions such as range, efficiency, and safety. The delivery of this "golden combination" of 50 tractors and 50 trailers fills a technological gap in "integrated operations" for all-electric heavy-duty trucks globally. Focusing on range, loading and unloading efficiency, and cost reduction and efficiency improvement throughout the entire lifecycle of road logistics, it will provide a "zero-emission, high-efficiency, low-energy, and long-range" solution for high-frequency transportation scenarios such as Guangxi ports and logistics parks.
The event's highlight was the world's first Delong M3000E all-electric integrated train, the EVH700 model. This is the technological culmination of the in-depth collaboration between Shaanxi Automobile Heavy Duty Truck, Weichai Power, and CIMC Lighthouse. Unlike the traditional split-type "tractor + trailer" design, this train is based on integrated R&D and matching. The industry-leading Weichai LFP blade battery offers significant advantages. Utilizing an ultra-lightweight design, this battery is at least 5% lighter than competing products. For example, the Zhihui Weichai 400kWh battery system boasts an 11% increase in volumetric energy density, making it over 110kg lighter than similar products. This significantly improves vehicle range and payload capacity, significantly reduces energy consumption, and enhances operational efficiency.
The battery also boasts excellent low- and high-temperature adaptability, allowing normal charging at -20°C. Its dual top and bottom cooling and targeted cooling deliver 100% heat dissipation efficiency, and its 640V high-voltage platform allows for fast charging and a 6% efficiency improvement. By utilizing a honeycomb-like structure, highly integrated CTP grouping technology, and the advantages of the LFP chemistry, the battery system achieves a cycle life of 4,500 cycles, truly ensuring "vehicle-battery lifespan," completely addressing customer concerns about battery life throughout the vehicle's lifecycle. Its industry-leading fast-charging capability allows for rapid charging during short stops, significantly improving operational efficiency. Furthermore, based on real-world operating conditions and roadmap development, the system has undergone rigorous vehicle-level system-level testing and three-high tests over 1.8 million kilometers, ensuring an industry-leading uptime rate.
